Made from durable and weather resistant Oxford Polyester, the Open Hangout is a great play space or quiet space for both indoor and outdoor use. It is portable and easy to move inside and out, though best kept under cover/shade when left for prolonged periods.

It is popular for relaxing inside while reading a book or playing a game while gently swinging. It can help to soothe over-stimulation such as from autism and sensory overload.

The swing is fixed at 170cm tall, so requires a hanging point of about 210cm+ high. The suggested weight capacity is 100kg, and the minimum age is 3 years old.

You may be able to adjust the hanging height of the swing by adjusting your hanging accessories, eg. an anchor plate with daisy chain strap can be adjusted by attaching to a different loop on the strap. The height of the swing should be at a safe height - easy to get on and off.

The hangout comes disassembled, and may take 10-20 minutes to assemble. The hangout has 6 metal tubes for the inner ring that keep its shape. You should have 1-2 people available for assembly.
