Lifespan Kids Comfy Cocoon Hanging Tent Swing

Stand Not Included. This is a hanging tent for kids aged 3 to 10: a black canopy with a green trimmed doorway, held in shape by a circle of poles that form the top ring and a foam-covered circle of poles that form the bottom ring, with an inflatable cushion as the floor. It hangs from a single point, such as a strong tree branch or one of our swing stands (the swing's height can match most stands, though note that its 112cm width would not fit on some small stands), and gives kids a small, enclosed space to sit, read or swing gently. A foot pump for the cushion is included.

How does it compare with the other Cacoons?

It is the kids' version, made for children aged 3 to 10, and is 112cm wide and 114.5cm tall. The manual gives a maximum user weight of 150kg, and it comes in one colour, black. The other Cacoons have a different structure, are larger (122cm to 183cm wide) and rated to 100kg to 200kg, so they suit teenagers and adults as well, and have no inflatable cushion. They come in a choice of colours.

Hanging

Hang it from its top loop with 2m of clear space around it. Do not hang it over concrete, asphalt or compacted earth. The manual recommends bark mulch, wood chips, fine sand or fine gravel underneath. Adult set-up and supervision are required at all times, and it is not suitable for children under 3. The steel parts can rust, especially near the sea, so bring it inside when it will not be used for a while.

Lifespan Warranty Details

This is the Lifespan Kids warranty, and claims go through us. Parts are covered for 1 year. The warranty has maintenance requirements, which are outlined in the manual. A faulty part is repaired or replaced, and the warranty applies to the original buyer only. It does not cover:

• Ordinary wear and tear: scratches, dents, fading, wear to the paint or finish, and sun damage to fabric parts.
• Rust on steel parts, unless a manufacturing fault caused it, and any rust on a swing within 1.5km of salt water or exposed to ocean spray.
• Swings that have not had the maintenance in the manual, including treating rust spots.
• Use outside a family home, such as schools, childcare centres and play centres.
• Swings that have been modified or fitted with another brand's parts or accessories, and faults caused by incorrect assembly, misuse or the weather.
• Assembly, installation and call-outs.

Check the contents when the swing arrives and email us if a part is missing or damaged. Lifespan Kids does not accept those claims more than 3 months after delivery, and says not to use the swing while any part is missing. For any claim, email us photos and your order number.
