Padded Sensory Swing Stand

This listing is for the stand alone, so you can match it with your choice of swings.

This stand is unique in Australia, and is designed with schools, occupational therapists, sensory rooms and clinics in mind.

The stand includes 4 adjustable hanging points. This means you can mix and match lots of different types of swings. For example, a 100cm nest swing along side a flexion disk swing, with a spare wrap swing to swap in and out.

Suitable Swings

	Wrap Swings	Fits Well Can be adjusted in height and can use 1 or 2 hanging points.
	Hangouts	Fits Well Height cannot be adjusted, but it's a suitable height. Uses 1 hanging point.
	Lounge Swing	Fits Well The height is suitable, though it requires quite a lot of adjusting. Uses 2 hanging points.
	Square Swing	Fits Well Can be adjusted in height and can use 1 or 2 hanging points.
	Rectangle Swing	Fits Well Can be adjusted in height and can use 1 or 2 hanging points.
	100cm Circle Swings - Mat / Rope eg. Black, Blue, Green, Teal, Orange	Fits Well Can be adjusted in height and can use 1 or 2 hanging points.
	150cm Circle Swings - Mat / Rope eg. Black, Orange	Fits Well Can be adjusted in height and uses 2 hanging points. It takes up a lot of space on the stand, so you'll have little room for another swing - maybe just enough for a vertical swing like a wrap swing.
	Canoe Swing	Fits Well Can be adjusted in height and can use 1 or 2 hanging points.
	Half-Wrap Cloth Swing	Fits Well Can be adjusted in height and can use 1 or 2 hanging points. Wraps over the stand beam.
	Flexion Disk Swing	Fits Well Cannot be adjusted, but fits well. Uses 1 hanging point.
	100cm Climbing Nest Swing	Doesn't Fit Well Cannot be adjusted and hangs a little too low, only a few cm off the ground.
	Sensory Pods	Doesn't Fit Well Hangs too low, possibly touching the ground depending on the person sitting.

Cleaning
All of the surfaces can be wiped down easily, making it convenient and hygienic to clean.

Dimensions / Weight Limit
The stand is 200cm long at the top (240-250cm at the base), 190cm tall and weighs approximately 45kg. The weight limit depends on the swings which you hang on the stand.

Padded Mats
Padded floor mats are not included, though for reference, the stand can fit 2x 180x120cm mats side-by-side fairly tightly in the area between the legs.

Assembly
The stand comes disassembled as 3 main pieces, plus bolts and hanging points. The center beam connects to each side using 4 bolts. At 190cm tall, the bolts should be in reach of an adult, and you'll need at least 2 adults for assembly.

The 4 hooks at the top of the stand need to be assembled (look at the photos to see how to connect the pieces) and attached. You can then change their positions in about 5 minutes if you want to adjust the hanging points.

Note
Though the stand is delivered with cardboard and plastic protection, the stand/padding could have some small marks/wear from shipping/delivery. You generally won't notice them unless you're focusing on them, so you and your clients or students will still be happy when using the stand. We definitely like the stand.
